Frequently Asked Questions
Once we receive the order, we require 2 – 3 business days to construct your personal mattress before it can be boxed and shipped directly to you. Your mattress will be shipped via UPS or FedEx and averages approximately 5 business days to reach your location. Ben’s will send out the tracking details as soon as they become available.
Follow Steps Below
- Move the Bed in a Box to the specific room that it will be located in. We recommend opening your Ben’s mattress on its side next to your boxspring or foundation, on the floor. It is important to not use sharp tools to open the box as you will risk cutting the mattress. If unboxing by yourself, try using your foot to hold down one of the box flaps while you pull the bedroll out.
- Place your Ben’s Bed on your boxspring or foundation and remove the outer layer of plastic wrap. The Bed will begin to expand.
- Unwrap and unfold the mattress and begin to tear away the inner plastic. By tearing the plastic at the top of the bed, you can pull straight down with relative ease.
- Watch your new bed expand to its premium shape! *It may take up to an hour for your Bed to expand to its full shape and approximately 2 days to fully firm up. Should there be a remaining odor from the packaging, it should dissipate after setup.
Using the right surface to support a mattress will affect the way it feels. Our mattresses are designed to provide ultimate comfort and support when positioned on a flat and firm surface.
Once you have received and set up your new bed, you’ll have 90 days to determine if you are satisfied with your purchase. All you have to do is sleep on the bed for at least 30 nights. If you don’t love it – let us know! We’ll work with you within the 90-day trial period to arrange a full refund, or coordinate an exchange by scheduling a pickup through a local charity or recycling partner. Subsequent product exchange will not be eligible for the sleep trial.
If you receive a product that has been damaged in transit or at any point before arrival, Ben’s requires a photo of the damages as well as the “law tag”. Once we have verified the damage, a credit or new product will be issued.
Should an issue come up regarding the warranty coverage, we will schedule a third-party inspection company to inspect the mattress. If the issue is covered by the warranty, the affected mattress will need to be donated to a licensed charity (receipt required), and we will send a replacement.
